My post on how to use the target with older mastery covered this subject one in return. Specifically, I wrote about how to customize the output target and combine them with some custom CSS to fully integrate into the theme of memory. It was a popular post and essentially technique still works today. But it was necessary to update, and I have inspired when Simon Townley asked me the following question:
Hi Pat: If I understand correctly, this places the picture in the post itself .i want use the integrated master image options (picture Post) because this makes providing thumbnails with easy and enjoyable games.
Is it possible to integrate PhotoDropper so it places the image in Post Image memory container?
After some experimentation, I arrived with the following solution, which I used for this blog.
Since my previous post about the target plug-in thesis added options to publish pictures and images that provide some of the same functionality, at least for image main for a poste.Dans simultaneously, the Post Image option has some additional features that are quite utile.Par example, it makes it easy to change if the image should be in a frame or non.Il you can also specify the horizontal position:
flush left with no wrapleft wrapright with wrapcentered (no wrapping) text text textAs well as the vertical position:
above headlinebelow headlinebefore post/page contentEven better, the image post control lets you change these values simply by selecting the desired option on the right under the blog post editor. There is no damage with custom CSS or any coding by hand. And you can modify these selections for each individuel.Mieux position, if the image is hosted on your own domain theory provide a thumbnail image for use in games and any other location where the image sized cannot be displayed.
With all the benefits of the post master's image, you may wonder why someone might still be interested in the target. And the answer is that the target still gives you an easy way to find images on Flickr that can be used on WordPress. Now the question is how can combine us the best of the target with the capacity of the image of the thesis work?
In short, the best that I could find is just a hack.It takes just a few steps to make it work, it could be better. But it is not the worst in the world and the results are worth the few extra effort. Here's what I do.
First of all, I write my post, like this. Then, at the end of the post, insert an image from the target for the Flickr query.(I tend to use the medium size images that will finally aligned right text wrapping is enabled). Then I switch to the HTML view of my post so I can modify code that targets the dans.Par example glue, the original code of the image used in this post was as follows:
From this, I found the URL (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3164/3313724853_670f244743_m.jpg), that I have entered in my browser and then stored in a temporary on my ordinateur.puis directory, I downloaded the image of my computer in WordPress.puis file JPG file, I have copied the link to the image in WordPress (C:\Program Files\ABS\Auto Samurai\data\Thesis Theme\thesiswordpress\3313724853_670f244743_m.jpg Blog), so I could paste it into the field URL dump Post.puis delete image code that targets the inserted so that it looks like this:
Here's why all these étapes.Si you want to control to generate thumbnail images for use in games and elsewhere, then you must have the image hosted on your website, not on Flickr.Nous therefore need to get the image out of Flickr, on our own personal computer (temporarily) and then uploaded into WordPress.Et since we are leaving the thesis image, view then the only thing we have left of the target is the credit for the photographer who took the photo, that I decided to show them at the bottom of the ticket.
I hope this is logique.Il is fairly easy to obtain blocking after what do you once or deux.Et means the simplest way I know to leverage the magnificent photos available on Flickr and combine them with the awesomeness of memory to add the color and flair to your blog posts make me know what you think.
